Watch the video & take notes on the issues, points, & ideas raised & stated by both Douglas & Lincoln.
You are to write a 3 page paper (front-back-front) that contains only the following:
Page 1: Douglas - his platform, ideas, opinions, issues he is for & against, etc.
Page 2: Lincoln - (same as you did for Douglass)
Page 3: One paragraph (which means 5-7 sentences) - explain the importance of Lincoln's "House Divided" speech (the speech he gives in the video.)
Page 3: Another paragraph - explain the meaning of Lincoln's words "A house divided against itself cannot stand. This government cannot endure permanently half slave and half free."
Don't skip on the length or it will negatively impact your grade.
