US History: Check this out!

Two-thirds of you elected not to start or complete the Castle Learning tests that closed.  A similar number elected to do the same with the Chapter 6 online homework.

This reality check is meant only for the two-thirds mentioned above (or anyone who grossly failed because they didn't bother to do the assignment with their notes.)

Please be assured that if you have a failing average come report card time because of this, I will have no sympathy or empathy for you.  This work was online, you had many days to complete the tests, you had no written work due the same day the section questions closed (and 2 days to complete each.)

Both of the Chapter 5 tests have been entered into Engrade.  I'm pretty sure Castle Learning tells you your grade when you finish, but if not, there it is for you, straight from the Castle Learning computing system into Engrade.

The only people who fail US History are the lazy ones.  Everyone else seems to do just fine on the Regents Exam.  If you're lazy now you are building no foundation for your knowledge, which is sort of like building a house out of sane.  No solid foundation = a collapse of everything that comes next.

It will be impossible to recover soon, so decide to do the work and pass or understand that being left-back is your reality.

See you tomorrow.  Hopefully with your homework but if not you've given me your answer about graduating on time or a year late because you failed US History.
