Global H&G I Homework: Due Friday, 4/12

Your assignment is to find pictures of and hand-write a 2-3 page paper in standard blue or black ink about the Mayan Ball Game.

Print 4 pictures of the Mayan Ball Game (sometimes called the Mesoamerican Ball Game.)  Copy & paste the website address of where you found each on the paper below the picture.  Your pictures should be no less than 3x5 in size, so be sure to enlarge what you find as necessary (larger pictures are also OK.)  Yes, you can put more than one per page but you must have the website for each under the pictures. 

Here is an example, and because I posted it you cannot use it or the site it's on.  I did a google search for my topic, clicked on "images," and here is one I found.  I copied and pasted here (you would do it on a sheet of paper.)  I then went back to the picture, still open in a window, and copied the web address up top, then pasted it below the picture.  (You would have to enlarge your picture.  If you're not sure how, post a comment below & I'll help you!)

In your own words in a 2-3 page "paper" explain the following:
- What was the Mayan Ball Game?
- Why was it played?
- How was it played?
- What did you "win?"
- What happened to the losers?
- Would YOU want to play this game?  Why or why not?

The pictures should be attached to the back of your written paper.  Use a regular homework heading, with "Mayan Ball Game" as your assignment title.

This is due at the beginning of class on Friday, 4/12.  No make-ups.  As always, copying or cheating will not be tolerated and will result in a zero for all work involved.

(Extra points will be given to those who post a comment before 9 pm Wednesday, 4/10.  This will show me you are checking the website every day like you're supposed to!)
