REGENTS REVIEW - REQUIRED MATERIALS & DEADLINES

This notice will be sent home with your student sometime next week.

Required Supplies as of April 26^th!

You must have the following items with you in class EVERY DAY in order to fully participate in your review to be considered prepared:

• Lined (ruled) 3x5 Index cards Students use anywhere from 250 to 500 cards.  The less work you’ve done, the fewer vocabulary words you know, the more cards you need.  You need roughly 50 blank cards per day in class in Global, 75 per class in US History.
• 3x5 index card dividers (1 pack)These are usually manila colored, alphabetical tabs are fine.  You can use any type of tabs that attach to index cards, but tape, etc. will not be provided.  Plastic is not a good option as you will be unable to write on it.
• 2 or more identical, standard blue OR black ink pens Gel pens and erasable ink cannot be used on Regents materials so cannot be used in class.
• Notebook and folder OR binder with paper for charts, essays, and handouts
• 3x5 index card holder (box) to keep review flashcards organized
• Highlighters
• You are not required to purchase a review bookThe District has graciously bought books for our use.

Tests in any format can come on any day.  You will need the proper writing utensils in order to complete the assignment.  Make ups will not be given if you are unprepared!  BE PREPARED!!

PLEASE NOTE:  White out in ANY FORM is not permitted in the Regents Exam.  Do not bring it to class or use it on your assignments – get used to crossing out any errors you make!
