FIVE POINTS on your MARKING PERIOD AVERAGE to anyone who does the following (and you know me, it's all or none!)
1. Leave a comment on this post that you plan to do the extra credit. With your first and last name...not some weird screen name you use & *assume* I know it's "you."
2. Make a chart. 3 columns. 1st one make about 10% of your paper (as usual.) Divide the remaining paper into 2 equal-ish columns (eyeball it!) Label the 1st column "Steps Toward War," the 2nd "Description," and the 3rd "Impacts."
Here are the steps to create your chart (put in 1st column, each gets a full ROW of its own): Cash & Carry; Lend-Lease Act; German Wolfpacks; Atlantic Charter; Bombing of Pearl Harbor.
2nd column is where you list (numbers or bullets) a detailed description of each of these topics (what they did, who they involved, goal, etc.)
3rd column is where you list (again, numbers r bullets, not complete sentences or paragraphs) the impacts of these topics (did it work, why or why not; did it change any policy, how did it do that; did it create a better or worse situation, how/why.)
Remember, you must LEAVE A COMMENT that I should plan to get this form you TOMORROW...Thursday, April 4th, at the beginning of class. No comment, no extra credit accepted. Any blank boxes OR it is clear you put minimal effort in will get you ZERO credit. If you want the points, do the work. Use anything you can - your textbook, online sources, videos, etc. Your work must be handwritten, as always.
One last thine...if you plagiarize you forfeit the chance to do any future extra credit. MAKE THE WORK YOUR OWN!!!
