Students, Parents, & Guardians ~
Please remember that post-assessments in Global I, Global II, & US History will be administered in your class this Wednesday, May 22. As always, you are required to have a pen to take the exam. Though not a Regents, it is a state exam and, for some courses, is required. The District has decided to test all students just to be safe this year (this testing falls under the new state regulations so sometimes the rules are unclear or have changed on us mid-year.)
All students are required to be tested.
If you are absent on Wednesday, you will miss your class period review on Thursday to be removed so you can do the exam elsewhere. It makes no sense to miss an additional review day - be in class Wednesday, on time, with your pen. Study your review cards - the information is in line with Regents & Final Exams that we have been reviewing for so studying for this is the same as studying for the Regents Exam. While this is nothing to stress out over, it is something to take seriously.
We are down to TWELVE CLASSES - that means only ELEVEN REVIEW DAYS thanks to the test...can YOU afford to miss another review day with so few left? (Answer: No, you can't.)
Adults - students have been made aware of this daily for the last 2 weeks.
See you tomorrow, and be sure you are doing your homework nightly. Have PLENTY of index cards with you...especially YOU, 7th Period.....
